State of Being Blue, Not Sad

Blue Mind

Feel the sand on my feet
See the sunset in west
Closing these eyes
Tuning in with waves

Humming my favorite songs
Holding a pen, drawing along
Staring at the horizon
Like a painting, I was drawn

Shouting at a distance
Crying at every chance
Seeking some glance
Every moment, I was in trance

In the sea where good things meet
Imagining everything beyond, I was defeat
Why do I feel everything fleets?
Beautiful things went by so fast, so sweet.

[I tried to submit this piece to Vellichorliterary for the issue, Kaimana; a Hawaiian word which means power of sea. It's my first time submitting in an independent literary magazine in instagram. I'll post it here if this piece get in.]
